Feb CC STS: Hope Springs

February 17, 2011

Remember the Sneak Peek?

How about a closer look??

Not a kit! But made from one of my kits, Panache, from October 2010.

I designed a “Happy 1st & 2nd Anniversary” banner for the wonderful dinner party we had recently for my sons and their wives. And I printed and cut out TWO of the banners, with the idea at the back of my mind that that gorgeous blog number was on the horizon, and a Blog Giveaway to celebrate all of those treasured visits from you all might be an idea.

Here you can see the  Gatefold A5 card that I printed as a Menu, showing the insert designed with vintage cutlery images from The Graphics Fairy. (See her link in my sidebar.)

And here you can see the front of one of the gatefold Invitations with the monogrammed initials of one couple. The download will of course leave this part blank for your own names or monograms but I will include the matching ampersand separately in case you would like to use it.

So, how will this work? One random commenter will receive one of my Happy Anniversary banners through the post. (If they like they can have the “1st” or “2nd” flags as well.) And three other commenters will also be chosen randomly to receive a digital download of the A5 Invitation/Menu cards and inserts I designed to match. Anyone who leaves/has left a comment from Feb 8th, when I first mentioned it, to the day the 100,000th visit registers on my blog stats, is in with a chance. I will post the names asap after that. The winner of the banner will have 24 hours to claim their prize by contacting me by email with their postal address. Otherwise I will have to select another name, who will then have 24 hours…So check back often! If your name is chosen but you don’t contact me within the allotted time, you will have missed your chance!!

*ATTENTION 4Shared Commenters*

I do appreciate those who take the time to comment on 4Shared.

However, if you want to be included in the Blog Giveaway,

please leave your comment here!

February’s swatch for the CC at STS was delightfully clean, crisp and fresh to work with. The colours kept reminding me of Spring, and while Spring is still quite far away in this part of the world, the hope of it is here in shooting bulbs and unfurling leafbuds.

Whoa! You weren’t kidding about how beautiful your accoutrements for the celebration are! Really beautiful. i love the gate-fold menu card – what a great keepsake. i can see that used for many things – new baby announcements, engagements…whooo you really got my mind whirring on that.

Thanks for the freebie kit – it’s stunning, just as all your designs are!

Thank you for th elovely kit – beautiful work! and thank you for showing us the things you made – I LOVE the dandelions on the menu card – dandelion seed heads are so beautiful – I think it’s the symetry and fragility? I love the inside too. Great banner. Lucky sons to have such a caring Mum.
