Lovely envelope! i have never seen the type of butterfly you have put on the today’s stamps. i am most familiar with the Monarch, and then the little white, yellow and blue that flit among the corn and across the fields here in the USA. But, ALL butterflies are one of the gloriously beautiful works of God’s design that i cannot help but praise Him for His bounty and creativity! Thanks for this series – it has been a real blessing to me this week!

I’m delighted, jayleigh. The bird on the envelope is from a Japanese painter, Kōno Bairei (1844-1895). I absolutely love his style. And to the real Artist, the actual Creator of such beauty, all praise and glory.

Thanks, Diane! These particular butterflies are so pretty, aren’t they, and the backgrounds so soft and lovely. I enjoyed making them into vintage stamps and then cards.

Opening my email today was an adventure thanks to you, Netsky. 9 comments! I laughed when I saw that, and I’ve appreciated each and every one.
