Three Muses: Card

May 29, 2010

Three Muses is also celebrating a year of challenges.

The theme for this week’s challenge is Card.

My Queen of Spades may be lucky at cards but…

Listen, I could write a novel!

This is really beautiful! I LOVE that texture in the background (used it for my gondola (not viking ship 😉 And that’s so clever how you have clipped in her face in the spade! 🙂

Your card is superb! I love the idea of a book card and your design are colours are perfect. The background has a pearly effect. It almost glows and I am wondering how you managed to retain this beautiful feature when translating to a flat photo. Fantastic.

Thanks for all the lovely comments! Marie, most of the pearly goodness of the background is thanks to Shadowhouse Creations. For the rest of the effect, three words…Dodge, Burn, and High Pass Filter 🙂
