Wedding Invitation Freebie: Limoncello

September 21, 2009

The last three things I designed are all yellow! Does this happen to you, that you always seem to gravitate to a particular colour for a while?

The first yellow design is a new printable card freebie over at  Cards by Carol.  You may recognize that I used  an earlier freebie kit, “Vanilla L’Orange”, for this design. For anyone visiting for the first time, it is still available as a freebie  🙂  Just scroll back until you find it or use the “Freebie” link from the Category Cloud to the right.

The second yellow design – well! the comments about my Wedding Invitation submission for the CPS challenge were so lovely that I decided to offer it as a freebie so you could download it and print it out! It is a 5x7in card, very suitable for use as a Day Invitation. (Envelopes for this size card are widely available online.) The total print area is 10x7in, which fits on both A4 and Letter size paper. Both formats are included in the file.

I will be working on a full suite of Wedding Stationery based on this design, “Limoncello”. When completed, it will be on sale as a downloadable, printable set. Full instructions and helpful tips will be included. If you are getting married and are in need of the rest of the Limoncello suite sooner, please feel free to email me.

Ivory or Champagne envelopes would look lovely as an accompaniment. (However, printing in CMYK is “subtractive”, so if you want the white lace on the card design to remain white, you must print on white card. If you print on ivory card, your lace will be ivory too.)

For the third yellow design, come back tomorrow!
